Day 2

21 Day Transformation Challenge

PREPARATION

Preparation is a key factor to a successful daily healthy life style for your mind, body and soul.  Prepare and plan each moment of your day by following today's daily dosage.

1. Prepare your mind  Set it on higher things, meditate on Gods Word verses dwelling  how you feel (tired, broke, lazy, alone, over weight, etc)

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
*Today when you journal, list all the valuable things in your life, don't even give thought to the negative, accentuate the positive.  Remember YOU have control of your thoughts, your words, your actions, put God first and you will overcome each obstacle you face with joy!  (Count it all JOY when you face trials and tribulations James 1:2)

2. Prepare your food for the day: take baby steps
To prepare for a life time of success in healthy living for your mind, body and soul you must take baby steps in your diet, your workouts and in the Word. Don't take on this challenge head on trying to achieve a harvest over night or you will fail.    You will never reap a harvest unless you take the time to grow each habit one day at a time.  The over night, quick fix method leads to bad habits called the yo-yo effect.  Stay clear on the yo-yo effect by making small adjustment one step at a time for the rest of your life. Take baby steps, make small healthier choices with foods choices you will enjoy.  Even  a well prepared bag stocked with foods you don't like won't help you for you will skip them and feed into those carvings and turn to alternative unhealthy replacement. if your bags packed, why cause you will crave other things and run straight to feed those cravings. So again I urge you to take baby steps, you will grow stronger with time and before you know it you will have the strength to cut out carbs, dairy, salt, etc for a big event or goal and not go crazy and binge and gain weight.  Instead you will stay on a consistent diet because it's now become a habit!
Remember even preparation can't help you if you won't eat it!  Prepping your day with healthy foods you LIKE will help you stay on track to eating right everyday.

Baby steps example: I didn't give up my all time favorite 390 calorie 52 gm sugar Carmel Frappucino overnight, I slowly switched to skinny 110 cal 23gm sg, then Cappuccino 120 cal 10gm sugar, then Americano with raw sugar, then splenda, then cinnamon.  Now I drink a tall cup of 10 calorie coffee with cinnamon and enjoy an ice coffee or an americano on the weekend. It's been over a year since I drank a Carmel Frappucino, something I once craved is now dead to me and is now replaced by new healthier cravings.

FOOD... 80% of weight loss is from what you eat so take baby steps to enjoy the process of a healthy life style every day one small adjustment at a time for the rest of your life.So make sure you PREPARE all your foods ahead of time!  And pack your bags for a successful day with 5-6 small meals!
